Sakoli (Hello), I am excited for our journey through 5th grade. My name is Ms.Quiver, and I will be your child’s teacher for the 2022/2023 school year. I am so excited to be here at Oneida Nation Elementary.   I would like to start by telling you a little bit about me. I was born and raised in Oneida and from the Bear Clan. I graduated from University of Wisconsin-Eau Clair and University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with an Elementary Education Degree/Masters in Reading. I enjoy traveling, watching my boys play Lacrosse, and spending time with my family. Most of all, I am looking forward to working with you and your child during this school year!   In our classroom, you can expect social studies, reading, writing, math, and science to be taught. I am a big believer in life-long learning and reaching your highest potential. I will expect all students to try their hardest and will provide them with the support they need to succeed in fifth grade. Safety is my number one priority at school, followed by holding all students to a high level of respect, responsibility, and reliability.   I will look at each child as an individual in order to teach and foster their academic and social skills. 5th grade is a very important year, as it builds on and adds to the foundation of your child’s academic and social education. I will challenge your student to seek knowledge, try new things, and strive higher than they think they can achieve.
